This is very preliminary information regarding the MAC Surf baby collection, out in May 2011. The packaging will have white with yellow and grey lines on the lipstick tubes, and the eyeshadow packaging is white with a red flower in the center of the box.

MAC & Marcel Wanders Team Up for November

Come November 24th, Marcel Wanders–industrial designer extraordinaire–will team up with MAC Cosmetics in their annual couture/luxe collection.  In case you’re unfamiliar, this luxe launch anniversarizes such collections as Stylistics, Monogram, and Baroque Boudoir.

These luxe collections are always priced significantly higher than your typical MAC collectio (e.g. $22 for a lipgloss) — I don’t have many details on products or pricing here, but if the theme/preliminary image grabs you, just beware that you’ll need to set aside a lil’ more than usual.  The compact looks to be the Sheer Mystery Powder, which they launch in every luxe collection.  There is also Air of Style concentrated perfume, a specially packaged brush (looks like the 187), clutch, and four lipsticks and lipglosses to round it out.

Denna mascaran är lite olik från de andra mascarorna som vi är vana vid. Denna har två borstar i en förpackning, hur smart är inte det? Jätte praktiskt!
Den rosa borsten är till för att ge längd och separation åt fransarna, medans den lila är den tjockare borsten är den som ger fransarna mycket volym och definition. Du kan använda båda tillsammans eller var för sig. Det är ditt val.

Jag blir lite sugen på denna mascaran, så jag kommer nog att testa den när den kommer ut i oktober...

Själv blev jag direkt förälskad i dessa:

Kollektionen som är ute nu heter Dare to wear och är hur fin som helst. Den innehåller bara färgglada skuggor - 12 stycken och 6 st glans, helt underbart... Favoriten ur denna kollektionen är Going Bananas, som är en härlig frostig gul färg som är en repromote från en kollektion som hette C Shock från 2007, om jag inte minns helt fel så var den även med i Manish Arora paletten från 2008..
Jag har hört många snacka om den lila färgen Shock-a-holic många påstod att den skulle vara en dupe för the famous MUFE#92, men efter lite djupare research så kom jag fram till att den INTE är en dupe, visst, den har en viss liknelse men den är ej samma som #92, jag tror nog att vi får fortsätta leta efter en dupe för den magiska #92 från Makeup-Forever...

And now...

Jag är dock inte så förtjust i just Dazzleglasses eller glittriga läpprodukter, visst äger jag några glittriga läppisar men det är inte en vardaglig rutin. Skulle jag nu bestämma mig för att köpa lite läppbling så skulle det vara en neutral som jag kan toppa över vilket läppstift som helst. Mitt val skulle då vara: Sugar Overload.
Visst var dom fina, men denna gången måste jag nog stå över denna kollektionen, kanske jag ångrar mig tills den dagen dom släpper kollektionen, men den tiden - den sorgen.
